Inspired by the vibrant flavours of Vietnamese street food, Hanoi Alley opened its doors in the trendy Nørrebro district of Copenhagen in early 2022. Tucked away like a small oasis in the middle of the city, the restaurant is run by Thu Hien, an experienced Vietnamese restaurateur who ran the popular restaurant chains Ngo 89 and 1976, back in Vietnam.
At Hanoi Alley, we invite you into an authentic and intimate atmosphere – a cozy, living-room-style space with a carefully curated menu. Here, you’ll experience traditional Vietnamese dishes prepared with love, dedication, and deep respect for the cuisine.
Vietnamese street food reflects the soul of Vietnam – its culture, lifestyle, and way of thinking. Hanoi Alley brings this spirit to Copenhagen as a fresh and vibrant addition to the city’s food scene. To preserve the true flavours, our dishes are prepared to order and never made in advance.
